Marc Cardarelli
Sound Designer
Marc Cardarelli lives in Brooklyn, NY. He grew up in Toronto and trained as a dancer. As a teen he began producing music in his bedroom. After earning a BFA in Performance Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University, he continued performing and started working as a sound designer with choreographers across North America. His love of dance and film shapes his sound design.
He composed original music for Cinereal Productions’ The Unbrunch and The Acey Deucey Club, and scored Kelly Todd’s Under Review film series. He wrote music for and performed in Elephant in the Room by Emmy-winner Al Blackstone, and recently composed for Blackstone’s Gershwin in B for Giordano Dance (Chicago). He collaborated with Ja’Moon Jones on The Calling, A Slow Crawl Towards Heaven, and The Ghetto Shaman, and with Welcome to Campfire on the immersive works The Pigeon & The Mouse and Subject. Marc also DJs and curates music for the dance shows Momen and Kiss My Face. His original music is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
