Originally from Toronto, Canada, Marc Cardarelli trained at the Joanne Chapman School of Dance and graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. In Toronto, Marc filmed the movies The Music ManHoney, and Camp RockSharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, and American Girl: Isabelle Dances into the Spotlight. For TV, he was a guest star on the BBC Kids show Wingin’ It as well as The Next Step. Marc has worked with several contemporary dance companies in Toronto, including ProArte Danza, Helix Dance Project, and Bridge to Artists. Since moving to New York City in 2015, Marc has worked with Al Blackstone on several projects, including How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore? for the 2017 Fire Island Dance Festival, Freddie Falls in Love at the Joyce Theater and Elephant in the Room at Art’s on Site. Marc has also with Andy Blankenbuehler for the film Dirty Dancing on ABC, and with Sonya Tayeh in You’ll Still Call Me By Name for the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. Recently, Marc was performing in the immersive show Sleep No More, created and directed by Punchdrunk.
